The Inner Search for Freedom

Belief without contemplation always causes conflict among people. Instead of looking inward to draw out their infinite potential people too often get lost in useless and meaningless conflicts that are a distraction from the process of self actualization. Thinking for yourself rather than getting caught up in these trends of thought unleashes your higher potential.

Introspection begins when a person realizes there is a place within them that is different to their thoughts and actions, a place that observes and listens. This realization transforms regular action into contemplation. In this contemplation conflicting actions and beliefs can be put to rest in place of something a lot more real.

The believer wants to prove something, the non-believer also wants to prove something. From a state of introspection I am not out to prove something, I'd rather just experience, as that experience brings about knowledge of life without a need to believe or not believe - without a need to become attached to a belief.

If we are attentive enough of the subtleties below the surface of life's material armor we might realize that all things are ensouled with an inner beauty and radiance waiting to be discovered. The statement "The Truth Shall Set You Free" has not received near enough attention in that regard. Even though this is a kind of adage for most people it is not something most people live up to. This is ironic because that the truth makes us more complete people. It is ironic because no matter what reasons someone can give for not being completely honest with themselves and others still each lie told diminishes the essential integrity of that person.

Each lie or censor merges a person with the social ideals that govern the world - a person loses their individual self in the process of covering up or sabotaging their true self. The continued choice to deceive, to censor, and to lie to ourselves leads to certain death (death of the individual self). It is an inevitable universal law that with each lie we are killing ourselves one bit more. Since it is ourselves that we are lying to, attempting to hide in the shadows from our own light, for fear of being discovered. Yet with each truth allowed and experienced the self glows brighter and no longer needs to hide or fear its own existence.
