The Mirror that is Life

The life of a person is based on a certain existence or an angle of interacting with the external world. That angle orients how an individual changes the form of their existence from time to time. However it is often tempting to follow one angle and to be attracted to it for a long time.

Rather than illuminating the potential of the individual this has the affect of limiting a person instead. The singular angle puts a person in a state of limited perception and in that exist limited possibilities. Limited choices often become a superficial truth that is paved in concrete instilled thick in confusion and fear. The need for The Self to be defended is trivial when a person realizes their internal meaning is limited to themselves and has no actual meaning besides themselves until externalized. This is one of the most important realizations to be made on the road to individuation and can lead to the liberation of unseen possibilities.

If no-one can see the self that you so desperately thrive to protect, to hide, to lie about - then what is the point of doing those things if no-one else even sees it? In this realization we tend to be stop fooling ourselves into defending something not worth our time.

Interacting with unmanifested forms creates a certain space for individual growth to occur. Such experiences often involve merging with nature or connecting at a deeper level with another person. Bringing oneself into the state of the unknown brings about boundless possibilities of existence. Bringing an attentive ear to that which appears empty or void often causes the self to expand like water into a glass to illuminate that void and make it whole. The nothing also contains in it the all.

Lateral perception brings to light a new existence where the resistance formed between good or evil and separation or union is not as overwhelming or direct. The definition of a certain level of existence supports this resistance where as a transcendence moves above the resistance to discover another method of interacting with the external world. Those methods are boundless but as seen in social environments can sometimes appear limiting. There are aggregate collections of environments in which the self can partake. If a person is content with merging from one to another environment that defines them as being juxtaposed to the mass outer resistance then this might be sufficient. But the person who is on a road to individual often decides at some point to escape the circular trap of those aggregate environments and in place pursues their own self development. This is the point where a new level of universal consciousness can be achieved. To bring something new from within outward re-defines existence of the individual. Rather than merging with aggregate forms and ideas one begins to cultivate the power to build their own layers of existence and to inspire the lives of others with them.

It is a form of re-birth to experience ourselves and others in a new light. It is also a useful skill to be able to do this in a magnitude of different perspectives. Focusing on the infinite rather than following a finite path enables depth to individual growth as oppose to mere linear progression. The transcendental and sometimes temporal nature of our thoughts and feelings calls them to be signposts for development and we can often use them to expand to a new threshold of awareness.

That which is good or bad does need not hold eternal truth and sometimes we might be able to concede a truth that even encompasses all things as fragments of ourselves rather than aggregate resistances. Each definition of realness instills a version of real existence upon the world. Rather than having such a rock solid and secure outlook on the flow of life it can often be much more productive to let go of all the definitions of realness and to go with the experience wherever it leads instead. The mind has potential to shape that experience in a new and positive light - holding onto old photographs of reality brings nothing more than suffering when we are unable to bring the past to the present instead of looking to expand what we have in front of us now.
