Spiritual Meaning of Numbers

The spiritual meaning of numbers is intriguing and often ambiguous. Is there an absolute meaning behind numbers … a secret pattern leading to deeper personal revelations and meanings? Number representations are relevant in both historical terms personal experiences with number patterns.

For me this brings to mind the times where it seems like a number just keeps appearing at all the places we look. But the truth is that often we can get to the base of all numbers – through division, multiplication, subtraction, and addition. So sometimes the pattern is just in our minds.

But that does not mean that certain numbers have a strong spiritual and energetic significance in their own right.

For example consider these three "well-known" number representations.

11:11 – Consciousness

I seem to notice the number 11:11 quite often at times in life – at other times I don't notice it for months. I've noticed that the times I notice the number 11:11 seem to be linked in with the dream-messages I'm receiving during that period in life. I also have times where I don't receive dream messages at all for months – and other "active" phases. The meaning behind both 11:11 and messages from the universal consciousness often originates from the same source.

"The same source?" Yep. The same divine messenger. The writer Eckhart Tolle describes the present moment as almost a work of art – life as art-in-motion – if I can propose. The present moment is not just "there" while we are "here" – like our mind tends to trick us. It's not like that at all. The present moment is all that is here. It's all that is now. It calls us all the time to join with it. It invites us without pause to be a part of the art-in-motion.

11:11 is just one such reminder from the divine messenger.

11:11 reminds us to be present and that the present moment is all there is. To see "11:11" is to see "HEY! You! Be Present Now!" … not in a demanding or intimidating tone – but in one that is clear and unmistakable.

333 – Truth

The numbers "333" are often said to be the numeric representation of Truth. The 3 – The Father – The Son and Spirit are all representations of the One Truth. Each one an inseparable part of the triad.

This has equal importance and meaning for human beings living separate from their creator – as all of us are forced to do. Each one of us is a part of the greater whole of human-life – the greater truth of the universe – and the greater Being of God. You cannot divine 1.0 – the result would be 0.33 (with 3 recurring).

333 represents the infinite resonating Truth permeating all existence.

One – The Original Being

The Three return to the One. Once pure and innocent our minds perceive One-ness. Then once we begin to learn to count and discriminate cost and worth we arrive from One To Two. Then To 3 … and so forth. The number structure we have in our world runs our economies, our electorate polls, our world wide web and all other facets of life that we take for granted.

But all returns to one … all numbers and all of our experiences originate from One.

Hence the number one in its complete state represents the Union of being together with God.

(not next to God as another – but as One)

That's all I have to share for the moment. There is a lot here that is subjective interpretation of spiritual concepts such as the Kabbalah … lots that can be found in a number of texts such as the Bible … and lots personal opinion. I'm not firm on an absolute meaning that all numbers must contain but that also doesn't mean that I don't believe certain numbers such as those above to have a tremendous amount of significance.
