How holistic healing worksThis edition of spiritual blog will talk about how holistic healing works. In the Learn How To Heal e-book I wrote about a number of healing principles and what the true nature of energetic balance is. The process of holistic healing considers the entire individual in the healing process. It also creates room for understanding how different diseases and problems can be interlinked a lot of the time. Therefore the importance of holistic healing lies in how each component of the individual affects all the other components. Chakra Re-BalancingIn our world there is a presumption that problems can somehow be isolated and removed. Few of us consider that our external suffering is often the manifestation of an internal conflict. Two medical issues where this is most prevalent are depression and insomnia. There is a fair percentage of individuals suffering from these conditions who have no choice in the matter. However there are a great number of people who find themselves facing these problems as a result of a dis-harmonic chakra balance. The response that most doctors have is not holistic because it does not take into account the subtle internal factors that have a huge potential to throw our external world off course. If we take medication to address the problem itself then we fail to acknowledge the actual cause leading to the imbalance. Taking Care Of OurselvesHolistic healing addresses this taking into account all the factors as being relevant in the potential cause of the problem. The entire environment and the thoughts and feelings a person has are taken into account. The core assumption that holistic healing makes is that deteriorating health is often the result of imbalance in one of the areas of our life. In converse — where all the factors of the whole being are in balance and alignment is where healing occurs. Practice of holistic healing Most practitioners who offer a form of holistic healing such as Reiki acknowledge that the energetic transfer which occurs will go towards the general benefit of the patient. This is analogous with giving blood to a patient who has arrived at hospital with a great loss of blood. The blood flows where it is most needed. It does not require instruction. Likewise solution brainstorming and energetic healing has a strong holistic component that does not require instruction. It is assumed that an individual who re-balances all the components in his life is facilitating the healing process in that action alone. This statement brings to light the heart of holistic healing.
