2012 Consciousness In Plain EnglishThere are a number of theories floating around the web about the significance of 2012 as a date of human transformation and evolution on a mass scale. In fact just this month tens of thousands of people have searched for 2012 related information on Google. It's a substantial date because it signifies a number of different things for different individuals — for some it signifies armageddon and for some it signifies a transformation in consciousness.
In the experience that I've had with conscious development and self-awareness there is a certain threshold of experience that I've reached where I realized I could never go back. In a manner of speaking the "old world" is gone. Now all that remains is embracing the prospects of the future. How I come to terms with this consciousness shift is realising that the door is now closed on the old methods of doing things. How we used to live life is just no longer an option for a number of reasons. The Fall of Modern MedicineFirst of all I've realised that modern medicine can no longer monopolise the industries of healing. It is becoming clear to more and more people that most of modern medicine is a shame. Established and self-aware authors with medical degrees such as Deepak Chopra have been asserting this for the last decade. Each hour more people are becoming shocked at the overwhelming evidence of modern medicine masking the causes of illness and profiting from the side effects of treatments. There is a critical mass that is approaching where this structure will just not be able to hold. This is furthered as thousands of enlightened individuals are discovering and teaching real methods of healing and returning to well-being. The Fall of Modern ReligionThe second critical mass that is approaching is the realisation that modern religion cannot deliver salvation. It cannot deliver God. More people are beginning to realise that the search for Truth and God begins within themselves. No external source can offer this. The important aspect that religions have been profiting from "selling salvation" for centuries is also becoming quite clear to people all over the world. The 2012 Shift The main lens through which I see the 2012 shift occurring illustrates a change that deviates from the macro structure of social conventions and group consciousness and gravitates towards individualism — abundance — and personal truth. Letting Go of Lower Human EmotionsIn the recent months I've been listening to the Sedona Method course which has had a drastic impact on how I perceive the world around me. In terms of consciousness progression I believe that the human race is moving towards a spiritual and emotional awareness. In the modern world most of us don't act immature — we don't intellectualise with the mind of a child. But we do suffer from a lack of emotional intelligence overall. There are people who can receive a PhD and still not be able to have a regular conversation with their child. There is a huge chasm between our intellectual development and our spiritual and emotional development. Part of the Sedona Method is realizing just how much we hold on to un-true emotions and methods of perceiving things. The consciousness progression we are now facing will cause us to bridge the chasm between intellectual and emotional awareness to become more complete individuals. It's an ongoing process of moving out of an emotional dependence on our partners … our parents … and most important — the world at large. Therefore this process has a huge emphasis on consciousness and an even larger emphasis on self-consciousness. |
