Fantastic Minds - YouTube Discussion

I see the astral and the physical as balancing each other out - giving us a chance to either replicate and hold onto something good and creative and essential, or to let it go, to allow the next moment to be present. This is often the process that occurs in creative acts.

Those who create a book or a film will often continue to attempt creating future works using the same formula which gave them their original success. This is the role the physical experience has in restricting and attempting to "photograph" the spiritual to hold on to and replicate that moment again and again.

However the magic becomes lost when we attempt to force our insights and "best moments" into our lives over and over. Few people would claim that happiness or love can be replicated in a methodical sequence of steps to achieve those things.

It is logical to let go of old ideas, recurring thoughts and emotions to experience the fullness of our being - but like with all essential goodness found in creative acts, there will be people that continue attempting to grab on to it and never let go.

I think that ONLY when we let it go we are able to tap into our greater potential again. Otherwise it becomes a matter of holding onto just a small piece of a much greater whole.

Your thoughts are welcome. :)

    Great point!

Freedom of mind is creativity’s fertile soil. Without it, creation cannot reach its full potential.
