June 2008 Reflections

Since this is the first official month that Spiritual Blog is online I would like to introduce the tradition of a Reflection post. The Reflection post will be the last post at the end of each calendar month. This gives me a chance to reflect on this blog, general happenings, and news around the spiritual blogosphere.

This is not a regular post, in fact it has a much different, less-formal structure. I will not mind if certain readers choose to ignore these posts and focus on the central content instead - think of this as the review of the content on this blog for the last month.

Editorial

First of all I want to say thank you to anyone who is reading this. I am greatful that so many people have subscribed and are reading this blog. I have really enjoyed reading the comments some of you have sent through to me this month. It is great to be getting some feedback even with this blog having started just weeks ago.

Next, for those of you who did not get a chance to read it, this month I wrote a guest post for UrbanMonk.net titled The Power of Being Yourself. The post was also followed up at Invisible Lives blog. I am glad that so many people enjoyed reading this article - and thank you all for your comments.

Spiritual Blog also had a guest post on Quantum Touch by Jonathan Mark. In addition to that we also explored Reiki healing with an extensive video tutorial series. So far Spiritual Blog has taken a glimpse at EFT, Pranic, Reiki, and QT healing modalities. In future months I hope to bring in more information, tutorials, and reviews about these and other effective healing methods.

The final note worth mentioning is that SpiritualBlog.com is now on Facebook. I think that this provides some great potential to share photos, meet new people in your area, and plan events through the page. Come check it out and click on Become a Fan in the top right hand corner to participate. I might be adding some meditations that would be open to all who want to participate and other events next month.
