To start off 2009 Spiritual Blog is introducing a unique project. There are a lot of websites and blogs online that have a "donation" link. I've decided to implement a similar concept but to twist it in a different direction. Raised revenue will not go towards this blog, instead 100% of all donations will go towards raising revenue towards specific causes and projects.

The first project is to raise $1000 together to help individuals suffering from depression receive free support and guidance to overcome it.

Spiritual Blog is keen on accepting guest posts from other blogs and from individuals who would like to see their articles published here and featured on the front page of Spiritual Blog.

Standards and acceptable content

Over the last 3 months I've received over a dozen guest posts and I've published none of them. I've received a lot of guest posts that are 100 words long and just promote their own product. This is much lower than the standard of articles I am willing to accept at this blog. So I decided to write this guide to point those who want to ensure their articles are published in the right direction.

I was looking over the usage stats for Spiritual Blog this morning and I noticed more people are beginning to use Google's new browser - Chrome.

September 2008: FireFox - 86%. IE - 11%. Chrome - 1%
October 2008: FireFox - 80%. IE - 15%. Chrome - 2%
November 2008: FireFox - 65%. IE - 22%. Chrome - 8%

You can see from the stats above that Chrome is being used more often to browse Spiritual Blog. For this reason I decided to write a short post on how to get the most out of Chrome and Spiritual Blog together.

The "Large Hadron Collider" from CERN has received a fair bit of recent media attention. Once up and running the collider is anticipated to demonstrate the same effects present during The Big Bang - the supposed birth of our universe. 1
